Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Bookie ("the Service"), operated by Elropheka ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This template is provided for operational purposes and must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production reliance.
2. The Service
Bookie is a Ghana-focused SaaS platform that enables service providers to publish booking pages, receive booking requests, manage subscriptions, and appear in our marketplace. Clients may submit booking requests without creating an account.
3. Provider accounts
Providers must provide accurate registration information, maintain the security of their credentials, and comply with applicable laws when offering services. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Subscription fees are billed through Paystack in Ghana Cedis (GHS) according to the plan selected. Trials and renewals are governed by the billing terms shown at checkout.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Bookie to distribute spam, fraudulent listings, illegal services, or content that infringes third-party rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm platform integrity.
5. Bookings and payments
Bookie facilitates booking requests between providers and clients. Unless explicitly stated, Bookie does not process client-to-provider service payments. Providers are responsible for fulfilling bookings and communicating with clients. Where deposit or payment features are enabled, transactions are processed by Paystack subject to Paystack's terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Bookie brand, software, and design elements are owned by Elropheka. Providers retain ownership of their content (profiles, images, service descriptions) and grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee booking outcomes, provider quality, or third-party integration uptime (SMS, WhatsApp, email, payments).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Elropheka is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Contact
